FIELDSTONE HEATING & AIR · FICTIONAL COMPANY · INVENTED RESULTSAfter the plan: two updates.
A clearer picture of progress.
See how two biweekly reports can connect work completed to inquiries, appointment bookings and the next decision. These deliberately modest, positive numbers illustrate a reporting format. They are not actual results, industry benchmarks, expected returns or a guarantee.
Scenario: the landing page and tracking are already live, local visibility work is underway, and the optional Google Ads phase has been approved and is running before the baseline period. This is a later reporting cycle, not a promise of results in the first month after signing. The example holds territory, offer, follow-up process and media spend steady and assumes no major seasonal demand change.
Sample services: website improvements, SEO & local visibility and Google Ads. This follows the phased approach in the sample assessment; social and email services are not assumed in these results.
+2 qualified inquiries12 → 14 qualified inquiries across tracked channels, with one additional booked appointment (8 → 9).
Website & conversion improvements
Simplified the repair inquiry form, clarified the service area and made the mobile call option easier to find. Tested forms and call tracking before interpreting the numbers.
Google Ads refinement
Reviewed search terms, excluded clearly irrelevant searches and aligned repair ads with the repair landing page. Held media spend at $600 for the 14-day period.
SEO & local visibility
Clarified repair-service page headings and corrected local business details. Organic search clicks move from 100 to 104 in this scenario; that small change does not establish an SEO ranking gain.
What the results suggest
Two more suitable inquiries and one more booking are an encouraging early signal in this example. The small sample cannot establish that the edits caused the improvement.
Next actions & client approval
Burnett Consulting: review missed calls and remaining form friction. Client: confirm which inquiries were suitable and approve updated repair copy. Keep the current budget unchanged.
+2 more qualified inquiries14 → 16 qualified inquiries across tracked channels, with booked appointments increasing from 9 to 10.
Website & conversion improvements
Used the previous review to clarify repair versus replacement requests and explain what happens after submitting the form. Rechecked the mobile inquiry path.
Google Ads refinement
Continued search-term review and adjusted messaging toward suitable repair requests within the approved territory. Kept the same $600 media spend rather than increasing budget to produce more volume.
SEO & local visibility
Expanded useful service-area information and linked it to the repair page. Organic clicks rise from 104 to 108 in the sample; indexing, rankings and sustained organic growth still need longer observation.
What the results suggest
The example now shows a second small increase in suitable requests and bookings, with paid inquiry cost falling again. A positive direction over four weeks is not yet a reliable long-term trend or proof of revenue growth.
Next actions & client approval
Burnett Consulting: review the next two weeks before recommending a budget change. Client: confirm appointment outcomes and capacity. Discuss additional services only if evidence and available capacity support them; obtain approval before changing scope.
How to read these sample results
Qualification: a unique, reachable prospect with a relevant HVAC need in the service area, confirmed in the example sales log. Duplicate calls and forms count once. Appointments are a subset of qualified inquiries from the same period, counted at each report cutoff; they are not completed jobs or revenue.
No double counting: the Google Ads figures are included in the all-channel inquiry totals, not added on top. Each inquiry has one assigned source; a real report would disclose unattributed records and tracking gaps. Organic clicks and website sessions are different measurements and are not added together.
Cost calculation: $600 ÷ 6, 7 and 8 qualified paid inquiries gives $100.00, $85.71 and $75.00 respectively. This is media cost only, excluding agency fees, website costs and other expenses; it is not full customer acquisition cost or ROI. Percentage changes use unrounded values.
Real reporting sources: Google Ads, website analytics, Search Console and a reconciled call/form and appointment log. No real accounts supplied these sample figures. Weather, competition, service mix, response speed and small sample sizes can change results; real updates may be flat or negative and would report that honestly.
